Hope you are having an amazing weekend! A few backers were bummed because our free bottle offer was only for Day 1 backers, and they didn't get the email in time----well, no worries, because I am extending this offer for the entire campaign! All repeat backers will get a free bottle of their choice;)
i offered this promo to help jumpstart things----and you all sure did! i was so amazed/overwhelmed/thrilled and grateful at how quickly we reached our goal (I think it was like 45 minutes!). So, mission accomplished, and the offer is extended to every repeat backer as a special thank you!

Hi guys! Hope you are having a great week;) After a ton of hard work, I am so excited to share the news---our new Kickstarter launches tomorrow at 1 pm EST!
To help jumpstart our campaign, repeat backers who back us at the $10 level or higher tomorrow will get a FREE extra bottle of hot sauce (any kind) just for being so amazing! This offer is only for 4/22, so be ready;) I will send an email out as soon as we launch tomorrow!
We will be launching our two new farm-to-bottle sauces, Mix Tape Chipotle and XXXXX Scorpion exclusively on Kickstarter, so you can be one of the first to try them---and we are also offering shares of our hot pepper CSA, where we ship a monthly box of some of the most amazing chili peppers on the planet to your doorstep. Pepper shares are limited, so you might want to jump on that if you are interested for you or a friend;)
We will also have our hot pepper plant kits as a reward to grow your own super hot chili peppers!

Hey guys! And, happy almost-2016!
I'm thrilled to report that all rewards were shipped out in time for the holidays as promised;) It was a tall order, but our small-but-mighty crew of crafty diyers, punkers, growers, foodies and just all-around-great-folks had a blast assembling and shipping all of these rewards out of Homesweet HQ.

This was our 3rd trip to the post office like this---and we were rushing all day to get there in time!

Me and Kevin prepping kits (well, him telling me a conspiracy theory story while I pack kits is probably more like it!)
A few other quick things before I get all sentimental:
E-Book Rewards: A Digital copy of Homesweet Homegrown has been uploaded to Backerkit, and an email should have gone out today. Check your inbox and give it a download---it has a ton of info about growing, and will be a great match for your grow kits!
The Blue Grow Lights: If you ordered and received a blue grow light, I want to let you know that it is rechargeable! It is not meant to be plugged in all the time though (it will start to dull if you do this I've learned.) So what I do is plug mine in overnight, with the light off, and then keep it on all day (unplugged).
A Tiny Handful of Backers have not filled out their survey---and we want to get your kits to you! Here is the link to fill out your survey if this is you;)

All in all, this kickstarter was an amazing experience----and I feel so thankful to all of you, and so grateful to our team. We created + delivered all of the rewards in less than 2 weeks (and were 100% on time!). This was our third kickstarter, and we've learned so much about distribution/ mailing/sourcing, etc. And, instead of having your reward money go to a fulfillment house halfway across the country, we were able to keep it local, hire amazing people that all live within bike-riding distance of our HQ, and keep it real. Thanks so much everyone!
I can't wait to see what is in store for 2016! (Hint hint, we may have another kickstarter in the works---we love sharing our products with YOU guys first;)
